Going through Aftab Sb. Summer Collection,I came across Gourd Sarang. May I point out a small correction, the item is by Mr. ARIF JAFFERY. He is a dedicated researcher, musicologist holding Masters degree in classical music from Romania and a practicing flute player.He recently retired as senior executive from Pakistan Council of ARTS

Dear Aftab saheb,

I’m amazed by your variety of collection and dedication towards Hindustani Classical Music.

I’ll be greatful if you could PLEASE upload Pt. Dr. Gokulotsavji Maharaj’s “Ahir Bhairav” & “Hindol” – Rhythm House series pieces. There were 4 volumes under Rhythm House’s “Ustadi Gayaki” series of cassettes. Now, these are rare pieces and mostly unavailable.

Another recording that I’m looking for is Prabhakar Karekar’s “Nat Bhairav” & “Shuddh Kalyan” from the Surlok cassette – Abhijaat Sangeet series # CM205.

Please help.

you need to relabel the rahimuddin dagar recoridngs .the bhairavis are sanskrit shlokas.not a thumri. and the pilu item is a mirza ghalib gazal.

Hi, amazing stuff Aftab.
Does anyone have Salamat Ali and Nazakat ali ? Or Ali Akbar Khan, Annapurna Devi, or Nikhil Banerjee ?
The links for Amir Khan on mediafire are not working. Does anyone else have them ?
